The network of walls dating from the fifteenth century had three gateways to the town: Porta di Sotto, placed near “Le Muretta” (Via Nicotera) which no longer exists; Porta Fiorella, bearing the emblem of the Sienese people and leaning on a circular tower and a third door, probably located by the Rocca.

Torre di Porta Fiorella A circular Tower with a scarp wall (recently lowered) thats supports Porta Fiorella, this is one of two remaining of the 11 towers of Manciano. The building has functioned as a house since the 17th century, during which a lack of interest from the Medici government allowed the private appropriation of public goods.
